Doug Dance was born in Trenton, Ontario Canada in 1958 and now lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has an Honors Bachelor of Science (HBSc) degree in Geology from the University of Western Ontario and currently works as a Capacity Planner for IBM Canada.
A childhood interest in nature and wildlife was rekindled when Doug first visited Yellowstone Park in 1990. His growing fascination with the ways of the wilderness culminated in a yearlong adventure in the park known as ‘Wonderland’.
‘Once Around the Sun In Yellowstone’ is Doug’s first book. His remarkable images and the stories that accompany them are a reflection of his artistry with a camera as well as his passion for the wild creatures of Yellowstone and the wondrous land where they live.
